A good, good anime boy finds a magic talking book, and embarks on a journey to save his sister with the help of a lovable pair of colorful outcasts. Now, this might sound like your typical JRPG fare on the surface, but Yoko Taro's NieR franchise is anything but typical. Coming off the heels of three playthroughs of NieR: Replicant ver.1.22474487139, Andrew takes us on our own coming-of-age journey to learn the story and lore behind NieR.
