Episode 40: No Quid Pro Quos in Mephisto's Realm

Before Nic Cage donned the flaming skull of Ghost Rider, the Spirit of Vengeance has inhabited many bodies, dating all the way back to the Stone Age. Since we didn't want the goofiest iteration of Ghost Rider to be a boy on a wooly mammoth, we decided to mash this universe together with Mario Kart to bring you some flaming skulls with your red shells and your banana peels. Todd pitches a Parakoopa with a violent past, Kyle gets metal with a frownie-faced Lakitu, and Andrew holds a different argument with a shy guy on a pogo stick.

Episode 38: The Spirit of the Baltimore Ravens is To Win

Metal Gear Solid is a very silly game. Please bear that in mind while we explain the premise of this week’s episode is that the military has decided that it’s somehow up to us to stop all the biggest, baddest bosses of the MGS series by unleashing a single Kirby to lead us to victory. So now instead of a flame crown or ice breath, Kirby is going to acquire psychic powers, four tentacle arms, and a really big gun.

Episode 36: You Merely Adopted Corporate Synergy, I Was Born Into It (ft Jeramy Kahle)

LinkedIn has told us that, as Millennials, we’re always looking for the next “big thing” in our career paths. The “thing” could be a bigger paycheck, more fulfilling work, or to follow in the footsteps of an enigmatic leader with an idealistic vision. But what if, instead of trolling Talent Management Managers on social media, we instead decided to hitch our proverbial wagons to the dynamic leaders among Batman’s rogues gallery of villains? Yeah...that might not have been the right call.

Special thanks to Jeramy Kahle of Canned Air for joining us in this weird team interview process! If you like comics and pop culture (and we bet you do!), then check out their show at cannedairpodcast.com.

SIDEBAR: Jon Favreau Is My Stepdad

**SPOILER WARNING FOR SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME**

Todd and Andrew saw Spider-Man: Far From Home and oh my God now it’s time to geek out over it. Does Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio top Keaton’s Vulture? What is the future of the MCU now that the Avengers are gone? Could J.K. Simmons dethrone Rami Malek as our new God-King? It’s very possible all of these questions have answers. It’s also very possible we just spent 35 minutes talking about the now-very-real ship of Happy & Aunt May.
